SICRET II: CAPES-PROCAD

This project is financed by CAPES, in particular in the Public Security and Forensic Sciences Academic Cooperation program (PROCAD). Overall, this project is coordinated by Professor Cinthia Obladen de Almendra Freitas at the Graduate Program in Law/PUCPR. In the computer science side, we focus our efforts on a relevant aspect in mobile phone forensics, which regards analyzing large amounts of text messages. In this project, we tackle the problem of summarizing conversations between individuals using statistics and machine learning-based keyword extraction techniques. Our ultimate goal is to provide to the Scientific Police of the Paraná state a tool for summarizing the conversation between individuals based on the keywords extracted.
